Great little cooler to replace the stock heatsink

I bought this little cooler to replace the stock cooler on the i7 4770. I replaced the thermal paste on both coolers before assembly and testing was complete. While the temperature difference with the standard cooler is zero under load, the peak of 85Β°C under AIDA64 took about 10 minutes longer with this cooler. Where this little cooler shines is in noise, or lack thereof. The PcCooler's non-existent noise is the reason I bought it to replace my stock cooler. Installation was easy - the cooler mounting system is designed as a bracket and fits the AMD bracket out of the box. The Intel bracket that PcCooler comes with is very easy to install and will fit any 775 or 115X socket (1150, 1151, 1155, 1156 etc.). Compatibility with PcCooler is great. It's tower style but about 30% smaller than the Cooler Master Hyper 212. The OEM cases and RAM slots are awesome! Overall I'm very happy with the performance of the PcCooler for the price, especially the volume. If you're aiming for significantly lower temperatures or overclocking, I'd look around. For the noise reduction this is amazing and I will definitely be ordering more for other non-overclocked builds. Notes on my experience of receiving the product: The condition of the PcCooler when I received it was mediocre at best, but with my building experience and minor modifications I got it working. It looks like my device was used or returned before it was shipped to me. There was no plastic cover on the underside of the heatsink (which wasn't even floating in the box) and it was covered in old thermal paste. Only 3 of the 4 plastic mounting buttons were included with the mount - the overall appearance was unacceptable. Chinese products are good because everyone makes them and everyone steals ideas. I had an old Zalman cooler laying around with the exact same 775/115X mount and it worked great with this cooler. I had to sand the base of my mount a few millimeters to get the perfect fit/mounting pressure, but it worked and fits perfectly. Again, value for money is excellent on this little thing and I will be buying more in the future. I understand that there are supply disruptions and while this may reflect badly on the company, this cooler gets a solid five from me.
