I really like these headphones because they fit over my ears instead of sitting on them which hurts my ears a lot. The noise cancellation is adequate but not outstanding. This is what most think of as active noise cancellation. However, my main purpose of buying them is to be able to watch TV at night while I work without disturbing my family. For that, they work great and the battery life is excellent. I'll probably only need to charge it about once a week. It comes with a microphone but can be easily removed and reattached if needed. I had a few problems with crackling reception initially, but haven't had any recently, so I'm not sure if it was just me leaning too close to the computer or if my internet signal was choppy. In any case, that hasn't been the case for a long time. I use them almost every day and they should replace the ones my son broke so I'm very happy. They also don't get hot in my ears after a few hours like my others, which also adds to the comfort. The control buttons are easy to use when switched on and fold neatly for storage in my sofa armrest storage compartment. Overall, they've proven very useful for both work and play, and I have a hard time finding headphones that sit comfortably in my ears.
