PowerPressure XL works like new again

Just what my PowerPressure XL stove needs. The device is almost two years old and I noticed that the cooking time is not very stable, more steam escapes from under the lid, the pressure build-up takes longer and it hisses when cooking. I have replaced the lid post center gasket, lid outer ring and float valve gasket and the unit is working like new again. When replacing the B-pillar inner gasket, be careful not to bend or deform the detachable aluminum disc of the cover, the gasket pops out easily but can pose a problem. to insert a new one. Lay the disk horizontally, put a few drops of mineral or vegetable oil on the center gasket, fold in half and insert into the hole. The oil will help it slide more easily as you don't want to use force and risk bending the cover washer. When replacing the float seal, push the float with a thin object from the outside to prevent it from moving when the seal is pushed from the outside. Inside. I used a chopstick, but a skewer or hard plastic straw will do. The new cap ring is not stamped in which direction the seal faces like the original seal, but that is not a problem, the seal still works. .This kit contains additional seals which are not designed for PowerPressure XL as this kit is designed for many different brands.
