Hidden way to install a Garmin DVR

I bought this cable for a Garmin Mini 2 DVR. I didn't like the idea of plugging it into an outlet on the console while the power cord is visible. The USB connector routes the cable upwards so it can be hidden between the windshield and headliner. It was easy to "cleanly" remove the panel on the driver's side A-pillar and route the cable under the dash. Installation Note: My car is a 2002 Acura RSX, it was necessary to run a cable under the dash to the camera. Location due to the junction box on the cable. I have the luxury of a factory service manual for my car so I could find the necessary fuses to power the camera in park and drive modes. I also bought fuse taps to connect the wiring to the car. They connect to the fuse panel, supporting the existing circuit and providing an additional backup line for the camera. The additional fuse must not exceed the fuse of the original circuit. This eliminates the need to modify the vehicle's wiring harness. I set the parking mode limit to two hours to prevent draining the battery.
