Like the elasticity, easy to put on if you are used to working with underwear or a belt. I haven't had to clean them yet, but it seems easy. Because they're so tight on my high-backed chairs, I wouldn't risk drying them. The chairs have been in use for a while and were badly discolored from spills and accidental food stains; I didn't want to throw away good furniture, so this was a smart option.
