In fact, if you are out in the mountains of Payson, AZ, expect to wear a Columbia (or equivalent) fleece underneath it. If fits slightly larger than expected, so you should be able to layer up with this vest. It is also water resistant. The green color is very close to a military dark olive color, but the orange lanyards on the zippers are an odd color choice.
