I bought these because the original filters felt overpriced. But I tested both OEM filters and this one in the same room under the same conditions. Regularly cleaned/mopped to ensure a fair and clean comparison. The air velocity in this filter is about half that of the OEM. The life of the filter is really about 1-2 months; The OEM has a solid year. I feel like this filter isn't even good for the unit as it restricts airflow too much and the unit has to work a lot harder to push the air out, not to mention adjusting the heater. It is actually better to buy a filter. Dyson OEM. Avoid!
