Review on Functional Multimeter Capacity Temperature Detector by John Reese

This is a simple and useful multimeter for measuring voltage and current when connected to the mains (e.g. between the host charger and the device to be charged) . It's nice and I think the price ($16) is fair. On the other hand, when I found this I was really looking for a device to measure the resistance (continuity) of the data conductors of USB cables. Some cables only charge, while higher quality cables also transmit data. I want to know the difference so I can figure it out and get rid of cables that only charge. It is not yet visible that this device evaluates data transmission via cable.
