I bought a replacement RMT-17 from Revain in 2016 (probably from another seller) and it worked fine until it disappeared not long ago. So bought this one. I have one that required one of the springs in the battery compartment to be extended a little to allow it to hook the battery in, but even with that the remote turned my TV on about 40% of the time and no other functions worked. There was housing displacement in the battery compartment, so maybe that was the problem? I ordered a replacement which just arrived. There is no misalignment, but the springs would need to be corrected again. The few features that work work more regularly and are exactly what I need, so I'll leave those spares, but it should be noted that most of the features don't work. Those that work include on/off, volume up/down, and an HDMI selector. So far none of the other functions are working. I have to say this is an exact replacement for my original OEM remote as well as the first replacement in 2016.
