This remote control does not work at all with the advertised Westinghouse model LD-2480. Not even worth sending it back for a refund.

The quality of the remote control seems to be similar to the original. On / Off sometimes you need to press several times before work. At worst, it's better than the broken remote it replaced. And it's a lot cheaper than a new TV.

This remote worked great. Mom was very happy to be able to control every aspect of her TV without having to guess and try to use the side buttons on the TV to control her device by herself

The first remote control I received only turned on the TV, after that no function worked. The replacement came right away, but this one works partially...no volume control, no channel switching. You have to press the on/off button multiple times for it to work and send them both back. Bad batch I think.

The first remote they sent me just didn't work. I played around with the battery contacts and was able to get it to work, but then it stopped working almost immediately. They sent another one and this time I plucked the battery contacts with tweezers. This remote is now fully functional which is great as the actual volume buttons don't work that well on my TV (VR3215).

I bought this remote to replace my old Westinghouse TV that I bought from Target almost 10 years ago (my son chose the buttons on the one that came with the TV ). I bought a replacement RMT-17 from Revain in 2016 (probably from another seller) and it worked fine until it disappeared not long ago. So bought this one. I have one that required one of the springs in the battery compartment to be extended a little to allow it to hook the battery in, but even with that the remote turned my TV on about 40% of the time and no other functions worked.
