If your swings are already in a decent sequence, it's probably just helping your workout to build the right muscles to increase the distance. It feels like the rod needs to be a little softer and more supple to train speed and rhythm. The pen is cheap and doesn't stick. Let's hope that it doesn't slip off the shaft and break something. Overall, I'd recommend it as it's not too expensive and serves it's purpose. It took a full week to arrive, even with Prime, so this is a little disappointing.
