Works well. Used on a 2005 Mazda 6s. You can also get similar type Denzo coils for about the same price, both are about the same quality, they should be as good as OEM (Denzo was OEM on Mazda 6). Also, it's not that common for coils to actually fail, it's usually just the spark plugs that fail. The Denzo coils I pulled out were still good at 170,000 miles, I probably won't change them for the rest of the car's life. I change spark plugs every 80,000 and ignition coils every 150,000. If the car starts to shake or drive a little rough (especially noticeable at idle), you know the spark plugs are probably starting to fail.
