This was my first faucet replacement. Instructions are ok, but I looked for video instructions on YouTube. You'll need duct tape, but it's very cheap. The only tool I used was an adjustable wrench. My water lines were in good condition so I didn't have to replace them. The aerator is detachable so you can clip on a hose adapter which I needed. In my photo you can see that I've already attached this, everything is ready to fill the children's pool with ice-free water! It took me a while from start to finish, about an hour and a half, but I took my time and made sure I did a good job. Other reviewers said water splashed everywhere. This happened to me too when I first retested the waters but you just need to make sure everything is tight enough and duct tape helps but basically just make sure the connections are tight and straight. When everything is done well, it works great. The atomizer works very well and the water pressure is generally excellent. I am very happy with my purchase
