In point of fact, there are going to be two distinct networks as a result of the configuration of two repeaters: one for network 2.4 and one for network 5. Since each network will be connected independently, this will result in two distinct networks. For me, I haven't figured out how to utilize the Ethernet port in the repeater, but perhaps in certain circumstances the "remote translator" mode will be beneficial. For instance, if the router does not broadcast WiFi at all or if the wire is very long (far further than WiFi), the "remote translator" option will be useful.
