There is no tire like this at this price point. The tread pattern allows for fast rolling on asphalt with big, flat, arrow-shaped lugs. It's four miles to the start of the trail, so it's cool! And when it finally hits the dirt, it still has grippy traction through tight corners and steep climbs. The sidewall has added rubber and a protective pattern It doesn't take long to convert this tire to tubeless - smooth, sticky rubber on the bead, a little extra on the sidewall to seal it and I hope Panaracer takes that into account!With all the big size hype, you might find that this 2.4 -Tires on your 26 is all you need, just like mine.(Most forks will fit, but 26 frames max out at 2.2 or so at the rear - except my Mongoo (se Rockadile can handle a big rear too!) When it's not about racing, weight doesn't matter, what's more important is a solid foundation and durability. and Swoop AllTrail delivers! As with virtually all 60x559 tires, the one you receive will most likely be slightly smaller. But I got lucky with the first one I bought and it was 60mm with no stretch! In fact, the only one out of half a dozen different brands! In the photo, the background is a 60mm swoop, in the foreground the swoop is slightly smaller - 58mm. woo hoo! time to ride!
