Why is the tire so wrong?

I don't know what to think of these tires. When I installed the tire on my 26" front wheel, the tire was a bit wobbly, but the inner tube was fine. I don't know if it was wrapped in zip ties for too long and permanently affected the shape of the rubber, or if it was itself eventually straightened myself. However when I took my bike out to the track it ran great. Much better than the previous tire I had. Now I use this 2.25 front and my old 2.1 rear (smoke) and the bike is amazing now .But then…

  • Aramid (Kevlar) bead

  • Useless features

Best value 26 " tires: fast rolling, durable, great grip and BIG!

There is no tire like this at this price point. The tread pattern allows for fast rolling on asphalt with big, flat, arrow-shaped lugs. It's four miles to the start of the trail, so it's cool! And when it finally hits the dirt, it still has grippy traction through tight corners and steep climbs. The sidewall has added rubber and a protective pattern It doesn't take long to convert this tire to tubeless - smooth, sticky rubber on the bead, a little extra on the sidewall to seal it and I hope…
