I increased the size and it was good because now they fit perfectly. These are decent shorts, not too short and light weight. My only complaint is the cargo pockets which are just a waste of space. One has a flap sewn on each side so you only have about 3 fingers to get in there and if you actually put anything in it would only be coins as they are too small. The one with the zipper is just as small, but goes a little further. It opens wide enough to insert a driver's license vertically, and you can reach it with just two or three fingers. It's deep enough for a driver's license and can hardly be closed. The two regular pockets are deep enough to hold a large phone, but be careful as it can slip out.
