I tried different collars and tried to find one that worked well. I have a good one for my small dog but I couldn't find one for my large dog. On the automatic setting, the collar only works when my dog shakes his head and never works when he barks. I've played around with the settings, adjusted the strap, and used large pins to no avail. The manual setting worked well, but it's not effective in stopping my dog's barking as there isn't enough feedback right away unless you're constantly sitting with the remote in your hand. I finally decided to return the collar when it turned itself off as my dog shook his head when I set it to MANUAL. This frustrated me and really embarrassed my dog because he was disciplining the behavior that wasn't bad and ignoring the barking. The 2 in 1 idea seems great but I don't think it's worth getting both after using this collar. Also, be extremely careful when using electric mode. When I was already using it on myself at 10 out of 100 I felt like it was overwhelming and I would not use it on my dog any higher.
