Would not recommend! Thought it was hard stuff, in goodwill I'd do better! I need to insert two pieces of cardboard to give it shape so I can place the drawing in the middle. Can you use this for canvases I suppose if you put something around them to protect them. I think they will scratch the inside but then two will probably fit in if framed. But for flat paper style art, it's overkill. It's a thick, canvas-like material. So if you're looking for a glorious holdall that's flat rather than cylindrical, then you've come to the right bag. I would recommend, using this item for dry cleaning, for example, I think it would be good for that. not me
