The antenna itself works great. I was able to use it with a small handheld scanner and pick up signals over 20 miles away, which is impressive for where I live, but. The package arrived half crushed and it literally looked like someone had cut two boxes in half, made a triangle out of them and glued them badly. The tape on the antenna itself, the protective film was halfway removed, and it was almost gone. the glue stayed and it was almost as if it had been used before. The plastic pad that came with the antenna is cracked and broken in 2 pieces. Rather than taking the time to return it, I cut a new piece of 3m foam tape from the roll I already had, attached it to the antenna and taped it to the back window of my truck. If it weren't for the fact that it arrived in a raised state (I know it might not have been due to the packaging but to the carrier it was shipped to), the plastic pad is broken and the glue that's attached, handy useless, I would give it 5 stars. Pretty decent product for the price but I'll probably order a smaller one in the future and probably a magnetic mount. It has high wind resistance at highway speeds.
