I wasn't expecting much for the price and these things have shockingly disappointed me. It's difficult to work with and because of its size, it's impossible to get a truly reliable clamping force. The legs are really hard to move which mitigates this a bit, but over time as the parts wear and loosen I don't think the grip is tightened enough. Assuming it lasts that long because plastic is so cheap. The locks on the pillar are again very cheap plastic. Small thin levers without adjustment possibility. As the force required to jam them is already very small as they wear out I have no confidence they will continue to jam. The metal parts actually seem pretty solid. Too bad all the moving, load-bearing parts are cheap plastic and underdeveloped.
