This digital floor scale is very good and definitely well made. It looks very attractive and I have no problem leaving it in my bathroom. The top is covered with tempered glass which is safety glass and much stronger than regular glass. The scale goes up to 440 pounds and with tempered glass, you don't have to worry about it breaking and shattering while you're standing on it. I think it's great that you only have to step on the scale. You don't have to touch it first or use the button to turn it on. It also turns off automatically within 10 seconds after you step off the scale. The next time you step on the scale, your current weight will be displayed for 6 seconds. It is then displayed whether you have gained or lost weight. If you have gained weight, this will be shown in red. If you have lost weight, the green color will show how much weight you have lost. To do this, the scale stores your weight value in its memory. If you want to clear the stored weight, simply remove and reinsert the batteries. It runs on 2 AAA batteries, which are included. This is a bonus as most battery powered products require you to use your own batteries. There is a button on the back of the scale that toggles between pounds and kilograms. There are also some error messages displayed on the screen to ensure you are using the scale correctly. Also included is a tape measure, caliper, body fat percentage chart and instruction manual.
