The spool started out great, then got thin and frayed
I made a wall mounted dream catcher out of this reel and was pleased. Then, as I started cutting pieces for the second macrame project, I found a badly worn section of rope. The rope is noticeably thinner before and after the break. The surface of the rope in the center of the spool is very uneven even after several days of cutting and winding. His train is bumpy now. I understand that this is a natural product, but after the first 50 meters the quality changes a lot. I'm fine with the occasional break/attach. I just cut out this area. But I'm not sure I can use the rest of the spool to make macrame, which I'd proudly show off. Damn.
