After using several different resins I think I know what works and what doesn't. This resin is excellent in several respects: low odor, cures well and is very glossy. The amount you get for this type of high quality resin is definitely worth it. Several bubbles formed during mixing, which were easily destroyed by the burner. It cures quickly and is fully cured in about 24 hours. I tested a few dominoes and a few key shapes and they all worked great. The domino shape I use has a few small areas where the bubbles can and will linger, but other than that if I want it to look good I would put it in a vacuum bath. However, to test the resin for yourself, it turned out to be fantastic. It absorbs pigments well and leaves a glossy surface after demoulding. After mixing it was very transparent although I didn't try it without pigment. But I think it's nice. We look forward to using this on a countertop or surface that needs a glossy, tough finish! Also of note is that the gallon jugs come with a small insert in the mouth of the jug which I can't see. with other large amounts of resin. This is a great addition as it helps keep dust and dirt out if you don't want to open the lid every time before use, and keeps the area around the lid clean and free of any resin or hardener that would otherwise try to leak out . Nice little thing to add jugs to! I am very satisfied with this resin and have no hesitation in recommending it.
