I think this is a very good universal remote control with a nice backlight. However, it has a 50-key learning limit, and that's a problem if it doesn't directly support your devices. I had three devices that didn't have codes - a projector, an OTA tuner box, and a car stereo (used as an amplifier), and if you turn on the number buttons, you'll quickly surpass 50 buttons. In addition, with one device (ViewTV), because you cannot set the signal duration, the taught-in buttons do not work consistently either. So for my needs it's no more than a 3 star device but for most people it can work well so an extra star may be unique considering my needs. I could spend a few bucks more and go back to Logitech as their database is really huge. Don't trust this remote control if you have weird or unusual devices.
