The number of keys that can be learned is limited

I think this is a very good universal remote control with a nice backlight. However, it has a 50-key learning limit, and that's a problem if it doesn't directly support your devices. I had three devices that didn't have codes - a projector, an OTA tuner box, and a car stereo (used as an amplifier), and if you turn on the number buttons, you'll quickly surpass 50 buttons. In addition, with one device (ViewTV), because you cannot set the signal duration, the taught-in buttons do not work…

Easy to set up Good for remote controls

Works well. Good fit and feel in hand. Programming is straightforward. Most keys are easily visible in the dark when using the backlight; The exceptions are the power supply, the four colored buttons below, and the backlight button itself. Works at least 30 feet away with line of sight. I only use it with the built in amp and CD player so I didn't use many of the features. The punch didn't work for me. Most likely because my amp wasn't listed and I had to learn each function individually. If I…

I love this remote control!

This is my second remote control to buy. I bought this remote control because I have a JVC stereo from around 2006 or earlier. I use it as a TV sound system so when the original remote stopped working, about 10 years ago I bought an RCA remote but still couldn't program it to work with JVC, same goes for the new one I got just bought from Amazon. I used code 40072 but it doesn't work when I click volume! it's useless! BUT that's what I love about RCA! It has a learning function that I used on…

Great remote but the backlight is not as expected.

This is an incredibly versatile and functional six-device remote control with backlit buttons at a very reasonable price. I bought one of these a few weeks ago and sent it back because the button backlight didn't work as the manual said. This seller was kind enough to give me a refund. I have just bought two more from this seller. The key backlighting on these two is exactly the same as the first. I will keep them as otherwise they are great remotes. I have a TV, Blu-ray player, stereo…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • I can't remember, but there was something

I bought two for different rooms. Comes pre-programmed to work with your Samsung Smart TV - runs all functions (including Smart Hub). The manual is printed in very small print and is difficult to read. I couldn't get direct code entry to work with anything, but the AUTO CODE SEARCH method allowed me to program my 2017 Yamaha Aventage receiver, Motorola TV box, and old Panasonic Blu-ray player. All functions worked on the receiver and Blu-ray player (except for extraction), and I had to "learn"…

Is your coffee table stuffed with 4 or 5 remote controls? Tired of fumbling with remotes only to find you need another remote to control volume or switch video sources? for a universal remote control that can combine all your infrared based remote controls. How do you know if you have an infrared remote control? Well, an infrared remote turns on a red light when you press a button, and you have to point at the electronics for it to work. control the assigned button of your choice on this…

The only convenient remote you'll ever need

It took me less than five minutes to program the remote. I also like the responsiveness of my rock player. With the previous RCA remote, I had to point it directly at the turntable for it to respond. This was a quad device version of the RCA universal remote. Still, it was a great remote, but I like that this new remote offers some flexibility in not having to point it directly at the player. Also the list button on the remote control is very handy with my direct tv box. I can access my…

Great remote but with some limitations

I ordered this product first but didn't get what I ordered. What I wanted was the RCA branded RCRN06GR, but instead I got the "Audiovox" RCRPS0GR, which is a less capable remote control. Be sure to check your remote to make sure you have the right one. The one I received had packaging and instructions stating it was the one I ordered, but the remote itself was a different model with different buttons and different battery requirements. I sent the remote back and ordered another one. The…
