Is your coffee table stuffed with 4 or 5 remote controls? Tired of fumbling with remotes only to find you need another remote to control volume or switch video sources? for a universal remote control that can combine all your infrared based remote controls. How do you know if you have an infrared remote control? Well, an infrared remote turns on a red light when you press a button, and you have to point at the electronics for it to work. control the assigned button of your choice on this remote, and this remote has many extra buttons that you can use alongside the 'normal' functions. And thanks to the learning feature, you can 'copy' your existing remotes to it, which is great because you're essentially backing up your remotes in case they break or one of the buttons stops working! I can't get it to work with the Apple TV remote, but I don't mind because the Apple TV remote has both a touch area and voice recognition feature that no remotes can learn. I am only deducting 1 star because the quality of the buttons on this remote is not as good as on other remotes. It just seems cheap, but then again, the price of this remote control was very low compared to others.
