Perfect fit, bolts inserted exactly and running smoothly, then defective after 5 weeks without premature failure symptoms such as grinding or the like; it just didn't work. My glass just fell off while driving. They advertised it as good or even better than my OEM, but my OEM lasted almost 10 years. This bullshit lasted 5 weeks. It had nothing to do with the installation because as I said; The window worked flawlessly for 5 weeks. During installation, fully lift the window glass and fix it with tape. Install the regulator, attach the existing motor and lift the regulator up until the glass mount meets and rests on the underside of the glass; Remove the tape and then slowly lower the regulator bracket with the glass and switch sitting on it until you find a spot where you can reach the mounting screw to attach and tighten the window to the bracket. Voila! That works great. I posted a photo of the broken part that the motor is attached to. This is the part that winds up the extra cable when you raise or lower the window. What really amazes me is that 9 days have passed since the 30 day return policy. I found a link that says it has a manufacturer warranty but Revain said they may not be an authorized dealer so the manufacturer is unlikely to cover the warranty. I don't have the luxury, time or extra car while waiting for this issue to be resolved. Revain doesn't have a direct customer service number that I can use to speak to a live person and explain what just happened, so hopefully they can accommodate my needs. Such a problem when you buy goods online and need help at times like these. Is it worth saving $60 and then taking it apart again and waiting for a replacement? No way! Lesson learned and I hope future buyers learn from my experience. This is the game you must accept. If the product you're buying is flawless, it's best to know that it will save you money. But when this awkward thing happens, you wish you could buy it locally even if you pay more for it because at least you have to deal with a real person. This unit has a 5 year warranty from Dorman but it's useless to me. I don't think Revain will help me solve this problem. You have my money and I'm alone. That's the worst feeling you can ever have when buying. Reilly Auto Parts sells the exact same part with a lifetime guarantee. It would cost me $60 more, but I'm calm. From now on I will be very careful about what I buy online. Sometimes when you think about it, saving a dollar will cost you more. So all "prospective" buyers, be informed and know the risk you are taking when buying online. I just hope that doesn't happen to you.
