Exactly what I needed! The mount had a tendency to "slip" over rough terrain, so I took another reviewer's advice and cut a piece off an old bike tire to make a spacer. Cut the tube to the width of the bracket and long enough to wrap around the bike tube. Ideal! The mount is solid and doesn't move at all! (In the future I will use a bicycle tire inner tube for spacers!). My bottle cage attaches perfectly to the mount and works great. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others who need a mount with flexible placement options.
