Do you need an indicator on one side of the connector

It drives me crazy when cable manufacturers don't distinguish between the sides normal USB is usually the open side of the connector, mini USB is usually the wide side of the connector. JUST SOMETHING so I can hook it up on the first try more than 50% of the time! It's a 4. Give durability and material quality a 4 because it's too early to tell but they have a strain relief on the connector.
