Pyle has always claimed that actual performance is ten times higher than the actual performance of any of their audio products. I knew it wasn't 400 watts. I'm guessing it's more like 7-20 watts. But it is very suitable for my needs. It's very easy. The battery lasts all day if you turn off the backlight. It's loud enough to be heard comfortably in a room that seats 75 people. I wish the equalizer was a little more accessible and labeled. I also wish it had a separate button to turn off the light indicator. Both are possible with the remote control. You press the power button on the remote control three times to turn off the light. If you are looking for something that will knock windows then this product is not for you. If you're looking for something light, durable and louder than a small ghetto blaster, then this is the perfect option.
