Easy way to keep knives sharp

I'm not sure I have anything bad to say about this knife sharpener. hmmmm Maybe it's a hideous bright orange color? Even then, it's instantly identifiable in a gadget drawer, making its only downside an added bonus. I'm sure there are people who will say this is not the professional, recommended way to sharpen knives. They will tell you that you must have a whetstone and cooking steel etc. Well I have these things. I used these things. But since buying The Edge Maker, whetstones and cooking steels have been rattling in drawers, disliked and ignored. Why? Because Edge Maker is just as effective (if not more effective) in a fraction of the time. There is no guesswork as to how to hold the knife in relation to the sharpener - the angle of the blade. By the way, there is no guesswork as to how to hold the sharpener yourself. It is very easy to use and in my opinion very safe compared to some other methods. And it makes my knives SHARP! I like cooking. A lot of. Daily. I have a wide variety of knives, some more expensive than others, and all need regular maintenance. I love pulling the Edge Maker out of my desk drawer, stabbing it a few times with a knife and having a very sharp edge to work with. It may not be elegant or traditional, but in my opinion it works more than well.
