Review on πŸ”§ Adjustable Replacement Trunking by GARTOL: A Multifunctional Solution by Tone Hatton

Medium scissors.

So let's get to the point. I received the scissors and they couldn't cut very well so I thought the blade was dull even though it's brand new. Luckily, two extra blades are included, but there are no instructions on how to disassemble and replace the blade. Luckily, common sense helped me change the blade. Still doesn't cut very well so I loosened the nut on the side where the hallmark is. Eventually he cut popsicles, giant sticks, but he didn't cut big straight super jumbo sticks. If you look at this, here are two possibilities (including photos) why there is a tiny gap at the tip of the blade. Tiny. Perhaps that's why the tool cuts very well up to half an inch per inch. Anything else and the scissors struggle to cut all the way through. You can still cut if you rotate it on both sides etc to get the cut you want. It was also only able to cut a quarter inch shoe tread after I loosened the tension blade. You need to loosen so the nut doesn't sit flush how much you need to loosen it to cut properly. Also compare this to PVC pipe cutters, they are much easier to hold and can cut big super jumbo sticks like butter, they only bend slightly so I recommend modifying them for this particular piece of wood. Next, let's talk about the handle, why it doesn't cut longer pieces of craft wood. This is a pen. You need VERY strong strength in your hands to cut through thinner pieces that are difficult to cut the full length of the blade. My theory is that if the spring mechanism were to loosen a little, it could cut all the way through. Or heck maybe if it were tighter, but I found I had to push really hard to cut through flimsy craft sticks. That's not normal. Maybe the blades aren't sharp enough? That might also be a possibility, I'll try to sharpen it later. In general, not bad, but not suitable for tinkering, and only after unscrewing the nut I cut the trunk molding. I would say that these are medium scissors.
