Review on 📶 Top Data Product: A56FW-PCI Mach 2 56K Modem by Doug Taylor

After lightning struck my phone line and my modem stayed open, I ordered a new modem through Gateway. Here's what they sent me. It's nothing but garbage where it is now. A simple connection takes over a minute, several minutes to load a single page if they load at all, numerous disconnects, speeds never exceeded 30 kbps (when the old modem was 40-44) and more often as low as 20 seconds. After two weeks I stopped using this modem and reverted to a damaged modem that still works better than the Best Data modem. This is probably the worst computer purchase I've ever made. If I could give these negative stars I would. And the next modem will not be bought by Gateway.
