We ordered this basic powdered beverage frother for my wife. Has worked great for almost a month. I emailed the company and they immediately sent another, more powerful one. Then that switch became unstable too, so I resent the email. And they replaced it too! And they're on the east coast and I'm on the west coast. And they are delivered here at priority mail speeds. Obviously they got a bad batch of devices but they stand behind their products. Finally, I removed the two small Phillips screws on the battery cover, put a knife to the cover next to the switch, and pulled it out. . It's very simple and I've repaired the previous two devices by replacing one of the contact springs with an old ballpoint pen spring which made better contact and now they all work perfectly. Assembling requires stretching part of your thumb by squeezing the retaining clips with your fingernails or a knife. This allows the contact springs to stay in place and then as a last step simply press the switch. I didn't even have to tighten two screws. So, I wholeheartedly recommend the blower, but buy a strong one first as it spins a lot. We use the original when the liquid is too close to the top of the cup or glass and we don't want it to overflow.
