I'M DEDUCING 1 STAR BECAUSE

WORKS GREAT. I RUN NIGHT IN PROSPECT PARK. RECENTLY, ABOUT A MONTH, THERE HAS BEEN A TRACK WITHOUT WORKING LIGHTS. ONCE A CYCLIST WEARING HEADLIGHTS RIDES THE WRONG DIRECTION ON A PEDESTRIAN PATH TO KEEP ME AWAY, AND ANOTHER TIME I AM NEARLY CAPTURED BY AN OPPOSING PEDESTRIAN WEARING DARK CLOTHING. I DIDN'T SEE THIS MAN UNTIL IT WAS ALMOST TOO LATE. NOW, WHEN I DRIVE THIS ROUTE WITHOUT WORKING LIGHTS, I DRIVE WITH CONFIDENCE BECAUSE IT ILLUMINATES THE DRIVE AHEAD. UPDATE: (THIS LIGHT IS NOT WATER RESISTANT) DOWN AT LEAST ONE STAR BECAUSE THESE FAIL WHEN RAINING. I RUN IN THE RAIN FOR THE FIRST TIME RECENTLY AND THEY WON'T WORK WHEN WET. I ALREADY PREPARE THE WEIGHT WITHOUT WORKLIGHTS AND HAVE SWITCHED THEM OFF TO SAVE BATTERY. THEN IT STARTS TO RAIN. AFTER A TIME THE LIGHTS TURN ON AT FULL POWER AND I CANNOT TURN THEM OFF. WHEN I FINISHED THE RIDE I WENT INSIDE AND STILL CAN'T TURN IT OFF. After they dried I was able to turn them off. I HOPE IT NOT AGAIN IF THE RAIN STAYS STEADY. TO BE TRULY WATERPROOF YOU MUST MEET AT LEAST IPX7 OR IPX8. I BOUGHT HEADLIGHTS WITH IPX8 GRADE FOR RAIN. JUST FOR THE RECORD, THEY STILL WORK AFTER A LONE IN THE RAIN. WITH THIS, I WILL NO LONGER BE DANGERED IN THE RAIN.

  • Camping
Cons
  • Some little things
