I used this on my 2020 Chevrolet Colorado WT Crew Cab. This model didn't come with a head-up display and I lacked the ability to see the speed displayed on the windshield. This article worked for me right away. I hooked it up to OBD 2 on my truck and it was recognized immediately. I have found that the GPS display system is not suitable for me, it turns off and then restarts. The OBD2 display system worked like a charm. I didn't want all the bells and whistles it could display. And in the device menu I could only select the MPH display. I found it's only about 1-2 mph from what my dashboard says and they have a way of setting that up. Read the manual for the OBD system and it will give you instructions on how to add or remove.
