I may have received a bad batch of needles but they (size 11) were unusable and had to be returned. They weren't smooth, round, or polished. One had a tiny end, like a crochet hook, that caught in the fabric and made a small hole, none of them were really pointed but more flattened at the end, all had tiny horizontal grooves that made it difficult to pull through. It's like they completely skipped the finishing process when they were made. I tried sewing with ten different needles, but then I gave up. If they weren't packaged properly I'd assume they were cheap junk fakes. Unfortunately, I no longer dare to order this brand.
