This is an easy to install kit. Especially when it comes to replacing existing devices. I only gave 4 stars because the locking mechanism and handle are a bit cheaply constructed. It does not have a spring-loaded latch to secure the latch itself. Just a cheap aluminum plate and it won't work with an existing spring lock. Otherwise I have no complaints. It closes the door and locks it securely. Note for people who do not know how to install the handle. The metal rod that goes through the door that the button uses to open the latch will likely need to be cut. There are several notches on the long plate where you simply use two pairs of pliers and snap the plate to the right size for the latch to screw in properly and the knobs to work properly.
