Review on Rikon 62 100 Air Filtration SPD: Enhancing Indoor Air Quality Like Never Before! by Jason Lockwood

This air filter is GREAT. I'm getting more into woodworking and using my 2 car garage as a workshop. I have a dust bag and shop vacuum that I use regularly and I think that's enough. After finishing sanding a few projects and seeing a layer of fine dust on everything, I figured it was probably my lungs not breathing those fine particles too well. So I decided to search for a solution and chose this device mainly because the price was very cheap for the specs compared to similar models. After installing it on the ceiling (not the easiest task - ask for help) using L-brackets and bolts instead of hanging from a chain as you see most of the time, I twisted it up and started doing this grind latest project. Doesn't matter! This device circulates the air very well and catches a good chunk of the flying dust - around 85-90 percent I think. Having an external filter that catches most of the dust is a big help as you can just use a shop vacuum and clean it without having to clean the internal bag filter very often. I installed it near the center of the ceiling of a standard 2 car garage, the air circulates well. Big surprise bonus - I have a 5kW electric heater in a corner of the garage as well as in the ceiling and at these lower temperatures the Rikon air filtration system acts as a great air circulator and keeps the garage warmer than usual more evenly. This with the heating on.
