Dear fruit snacks

I love this car. Drying fruit for the first time. I have a mango tree and wanted to find another way to keep the fruit longer than freezing. Great appetizers with mango and skin! So far I've made strawberry chips, bananas, figs, pineapples, mangoes and keep experimenting. Love it! My only regret is that the temperature does not rise above 158. To cook jerky you need 165 degrees which is the required temperature to cook beef/chicken jerky. They advise bringing the meat to that temperature after 158 in the oven. An extra step. That's fine, but I'd like to know this beforehand if I'm cooking more jerky than fruit. It's still a great product, very quiet shelves that are easy to clean, just soak in soapy water and rinse.

Pros
  • understandable for the old ones too
Cons
  • mostly ok, but...
