I recently received a diamond cut screen protector and have had it on my phone for the past few days. At first I was completely taken aback by its glitter (I'm a guy, glitter just isn't my thing). After a while this feeling went away and I started ignoring it. I went outside the next day and at the same brightness level I normally use outside, the glitter was too distracting to use my phone. It was pretty annoying. I showed it to some friends and got two different reactions. Girls love it, they think it's cool, but they usually say something like "You'd like it more if you weren't a man." Boys hate it, they think it's stupid, and then they usually ask me things like " "Are you gay?". glitter + boys = no. This is my main reason for the bad review of this screen protector. Apart from the annoying shine, it's quite decent. I had no problem putting it on my phone, the included felt(?) cloth did a good job removing smudges and dust, and the screen protector is VERY forgiving of my improper installation. It's well designed in that regard. In addition to the annoying shine, the tread has the usual annoying inexplicable "stains" in bright light. It's pretty common though, so I can't confuse it. It's just worth mentioning. If you like glitter, get this! It is great! If you have no idea what a "diamond finish" is and don't like glitter (like me) then this screen protector isn't for you.
