Quality product as expected from Rigid. Well made and designed. Easy to use with a choice of high and low sensitivity. Reading is done with the help of visual strips, amplified sound signals and vibration. Uses 4 AA batteries. Comes with a nice zippered hard case and manual. The sensitive element has a lifespan of 5 years and will be replaced by a hard one. I am building a home on Lake Michigan and decided to check all the gas lines after all my mechanical subcontractors were done as the ceilings and walls would be caulked with sprayed urethane foam insulation and the walls and ceiling would be plastered. Nothing you want to do after the fact. Better now than later! After checking many connections outside on all the wiring in the house, I found one connection with a small leak inside. Fix it now! money well spent. Thank you Starr!
