Review on 📻 Uniden UM385: High-Powered 25W Fixed Mount Marine VHF Radio with Triple Watch, DSC, Emergency/NOAA Weather Alert, Waterproof IPX4, and All USA/International/Canadian Marine Channels - White by Frank Villanueva

installed this on my boat with a new 48 inch antenna. The scan function is not like the old radios where you press scan mode and when someone is talking it will stop on that channel. This one requires you to program the channels you want to scan by simply going to that station and holding down the scan button until it beeps, just like programming car stereos. The company sent it out quickly and for free, in fact it came earlier than expected. I gave 4 starts because for some reason I brought out the boat on the 3rd time there is a popping sound. Not sure what's causing this problem, check my ground wires. Otherwise it's good value for money.
