In my opinion a good belt for children.
It's faux leather, which I don't think is leather at all, but it's a decent belt for kids. It's double-sided, which makes for twice the wear. One side made of smooth brown faux leather and the other side made of casual black woven fabric. To change sides, simply pull the buckle and rotate to the desired side. Simply. The buckle feels strong enough and overall the strap is well made and should last a long time with regular wear.
