This works for my #4-40 faucets that I use.
The device comes with a lot of dust around the threads and hardly tightens. After cleaning and lubricating the assembly everything works fine. I spent about 1/2 hour machining and lubricating the assembly to make it smooth. If there was a thread cutter it would be faster. The factory needs to clean and lubricate the unit before shipping, then I would give it 5 stars.
