Poorly thought out. I have used four of these devices.

Poor design. I've used four of these devices with similar results. First, it drains the batteries very quickly. Second, if you intend to use it outdoors, expect the batteries to drain even faster. Third, in winter, the device will stop working when the temperature gets too low. And finally, the lifespan of the device is 12-24 months.
