Review on Transitional Barefoot Shoe For Women By WHITIN - Minimalist, Lifestyle-Inspired Design, Perfect For Beginners by Joseph Quade

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was skeptical good for me

Walking barefoot isn't always comfortable for me, because as I've aged, I've lost some of the natural padding in the soles of my feet. So I was dubious about a shoe that claims to mimic being barefoot. And since I have moderate bunions, I have learned not to believe hype about shoes that are comfortable even with bunions.I have never been so happy to be so wrong! The toe box really does follow the natural shape of my splayed toes. The shoes really do feel like walking barefoot but have just enough padding for my aging feet. The sole is flexible, so I can feel my toes getting a workout as I walk. I took the insoles out, and I just LOVE how these shoes fit and feel. I will probably buy another pair in another color. I normally wear size 8 1/5, but I ordered size 9, and they're perfect.I have a ways to go to (hopefully) get rid of my bunions nonsurgically: toe spacers and exercises. But having shoes that are kinder to my feet is a great start. I would recommend these to anyone.

Pros
  • Rounded toe design and flex & fold with a versatile structure, providing complete movability of the foot.
Cons
  • Lacking style and uniqueness compared to other barefoot shoe designs
