We used this on stage to hold our iPad. My only complaint: I wish I had bought it two years ago. We have already looked at two less high-quality models. Holds the iPad well and firmly. Update: I see I posted this review over 2 years ago. We still use this stand to this day. We use it for rehearsals every week and 35 gigs a year and it still works just like it did when I first got it. Great stand.
