Every time a new iPad came out I had to buy a new stand because new iPads always had different sizes and the old stands were outdated because they didn't fit anymore. When K&M's universal tablet holder came out, it solved this problem once and for all as it fits tablets and iPads of any size and size. The design is fully adjustable and is great for attaching and securely attaching your device to the mount. Very well built.

Overall, I love my K&M universal iPad holder. This is the second K&M iPad stand I've bought. I thought it was good enough to give a decent review. It is stable and holds the iPad well. I want the head to rotate 360 (to the right) and not just to the left. We used this on stage to hold our iPad. My only complaint: I wish I had bought it two years ago. We have already looked at two less high-quality models. Holds the iPad well and firmly. Not the best solution for iPad Pro (12.9 inch). This is close to the ideal solution for musicians, but is so wrong that it becomes unusable. Most musicians want their iPad to be viewed in portrait mode rather than landscape mode. This would require having two corner supports on the left and a "middle" support on the right, which directly interferes with Apple Pencil docking. I used to have a $25 Peavy iPad holder that worked great for 5 years. I broke one of the clips, so this time I decided to upgrade to a larger (and twice the price) K&M stand. It was a bad choice. This thing does the job, although I had a previous model made just for my iPad that was MUCH better than this one. I constantly have to readjust the small adjusting screws because they are hanging around in my pocket. It's a little annoying, but as mentioned, the top clip doesn't hold the iPad very well. You can't use this with a case I'm okay with because I'm used to the other one I had. But the constant fumbling is doubly annoying when you factor in the price.

Bought this mount for my iPad Pro 12.9 inch. As other reviewers have said, this mount works primarily in landscape mode, but I was really hoping it would work to hold my iPad in portrait mode.
